CAN I USE THE SITE AT HOME?

If you have registered manually, you can access the site from any computer, at any time.

If you access the website through your company's intranet or HR platform, you will need to be connected to your company’s network or VPN.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE SITE TO LOG ME OUT?

For security reasons, the site will log you out after 15 minutes. When you log back in you will be returned to the same point.

WHAT DO I DO IF I’VE FORGOTTEN MY LOGIN DETAILS?

Click on the “Forgotten your login details?” link below the login box on the homepage or login page and confirm whether you have forgotten your username or password. If you have forgotten your username, you will be prompted to provide account details. A reminder of your username will then appear, and an email reminder will be sent to your registered email address. If you have forgotten your password, provide the required details and answer the security questions, and you will be given the opportunity to reset your password.

If you didn’t register yourself, but were given credentials by your HR department, contact them for help.

PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Privacy and security are taken very seriously. We respect your right to privacy and understand that you need to be in control of your personal information. We will not disclose your personal details to third parties, including your employer, without your explicit consent. The management of some organisations may be provided with a general report of overall employee health status using amalgamated data, but they will not receive individual employee data. If you leave the company, your account will be deactivated.

Security ensures that any sensitive information you provide to us is transmitted and stored in a safe and protected way. The service offers a secure online environment in which you can safely give personal information and view content. The service has externally hosted security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of the information you provide. This information is stored securely on servers separate from our website server. Please click the Privacy Statement link at the foot of the page for further details.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

WHAT IS MY HEALTH & WELL-BEING ASSESSMENT?

Your health & well-being assessment allows you to assess how well you’re doing in the key areas of your health and helps you to manage your own health over time. The more you understand about your health, the better equipped you can be to look after it.

First, you will go through a quick questionnaire relating to your physical and emotional health. Based on your answers, you will receive a detailed report with information tailored to your personal health needs. You can save a copy of your report or print it off to read later. You will also receive a score for your overall health and well-being and individual scores for each key area. These will help you to monitor how well you’re doing over time.

The health & well-being assessment gives you a way of measuring your health status and provides information to help you look after your immediate and long-term health. However, it cannot be used to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment given by a doctor.

CAN I PAUSE MY HEALTH & WELL-BEING ASSESSMENT IN THE MIDDLE?

Once you’ve started your health & well-being assessment, you can pause it at any point. Your answers will be stored for a week; after this time you will need to retake the health & well-being assessment again from the beginning.

CAN I START AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING?

Yes. You can click on the "Restart my assessment" link at any point while taking your health & well-being assessment to start again from the beginning. Your previous data will not be stored.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO RETAKE MY HEALTH & WELL-BEING ASSESSMENT?

The site will indicate when it’s time to retake your health & well-being assessment. If you’ve made changes to your lifestyle and haven’t taken your assessment for a while, come back and take it again at any point to see how your scores match up.

WHAT ARE THE TARGETED ASSESSMENTS?

The health & well-being assessment covers four areas: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress. The Targeted Assessments then allow you to complete a more targeted and in-depth assessment of each individual area, giving you more information and insight into how well you are doing.

MAKE ONE SMALL CHANGE

WHAT IS MAKE ONE SMALL CHANGE?

Make One Small Change is an online lifestyle management programme, designed under the supervision of medical directors, to target and improve specific behaviours. Used on its own or in combination with the health & well-being assessment, the programme focuses on developing healthy behaviours that are vital to your long term wellbeing. It has been designed to help you make a single achievable and meaningful change to your routine every week.

How it works:

- Pick a change to work on each week.

- Keep track of your efforts throughout the week. You can even ask a friend for help and support!

- At the end of each week, take a look at the progress you have made in your weekly review. You will receive rewards for every milestone you reach along the way.

CAN I REDO A CHANGE?

Absolutely! If you would like to commit to the same change for another week, or more, all you have to do is select “keep this change” at the end of your weekly review.

I’M BORED OF THIS CHANGE, HOW CAN I PICK ANOTHER ONE?

Make One Small Change is all about finding changes that are interesting to you and that you are motivated to incorporate into your weekly routine. Return to your dashboard and update your plan; from here you can pick a new change for the week.

HOW LONG DOES A PROGRAMME LAST?

For as long as you like! The nature of Make One Small Change is that you work on as many or as few changes as you like. Having a small commitment each week is more manageable and achievable for lasting behaviour change.

CAN I TAKE A BREAK FROM THE PROGRAMME?

Of course! We understand life can get busy at times; that’s why we created the Take a Break feature. This allows you schedule a reminder for two weeks’ time, to prompt you to restart the programme. While you’re away, everything will remain as you left it. When you’re ready to come back, log back into Make One Small Change and simply pick up where you left off.
